Banking services are available at the Larnaca International Airport in the arrivals (Level 0, after the custom control) and departures (Level 2, near the Check-In area) floors.

North Cyprus is a popular beach destination because of its hot, Meditteranean climate. The summers are hot and dry, while the winters are rainy and mild. In late April, and early May, the average temperature is 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit), and the temperature of the sea averages 21 degrees Celsius (67 Fahrenheit).
Days are pleasantly warm during this period, but can get slightly chilly at night. This is an excellent season for those who prefer to enjoy nature, as the countryside is green and flowers are in bloom.

Almost all banks’ provide the option of making withdrawals in multiple types of currencies such as US Dollar, Euro or Turkish Lira.
North Cyprus is an internationally popular tourist destination, so you can exchange money with little difficulty. You can change currency and get cash in Turkish Lira at the airport, through banks or exchange bureaus, or you can directly withdraw Liras from any ATM. Exchange offices (doviz) are quite frequent and easy to spot, especially in touristic areas. It is possible to change a variety of currencies is, and bureaus do not charge commission. However, the exchange rates may differslightly from one another..
In North Cyprus, electricity is supplied at 220-240 Volt / 50Hz AC. Most hotels have a receptacle with 110 volts. Three-pin round plugs are used.

Smoking is not permitted inside of restaurants, public service vehicles, museums, libraries, lifts, theatres, cinemas, supermarkets, department stores, and government offices. In line with efforts to improve the nightlife experience for all, there are smoking restrictions on entertainment outlets. Smoking is no longer allowed in all pubs, discos, karaokes, bars and other public nightspots unless within approved smoking rooms /corners. Smoking is prohibited at:
• Indoor public places e.g. shops, shopping/neighborhood centers factories, offices regardless of whether they are air conditioned
• Lift and hotel lobbies
• Within 5m of entrances and exits to indoor area of buildings and facilities where smoking is prohibited.
